If it's your first time in Kashmir, start here. You spend one night on a houseboat on Dal Lake, one in Gulmarg, two in Pahalgam and one in Srinagar, with your own car and driver from Srinagar airport. The days are easy: a shikara ride at sunset, the Gulmarg meadow, the saffron fields of Pampore and the Betaab and Aru valleys. Breakfast and dinner are taken care of at 3-star hotels every day. A Sonamarg day can be added at extra cost. You just pack warm layers and enjoy the views.

No. Tickets are sold only online, in each traveller's name, and we book them for you; you pay the ticket price. Carry the same photo ID on the day. Phase 2 to Apharwat runs only in safe weather.
The Pahalgam union taxi for Betaab and Aru, about 2,200–3,000 rupees per vehicle, and pony rides if you take them. Gondola Phase 1 is about 700–810 rupees per person. Rates can change.
Postpaid SIMs work. Prepaid SIMs from other states do not work in Kashmir, but you can buy a local prepaid SIM at Srinagar airport with Aadhaar or a passport.
No. Snow is likely in Gulmarg and Pahalgam from late December to February, but never guaranteed on any date. The trip runs all year.
